Carly Chiarella, PT, DPT
Franklin Clinic Director
Carly Chiarella is Sussex County native who has returned to her roots to help the people of her community return to the activities they love. She attended Pope John XXIII High School in Sparta and went on to earn her Bachelor of Art degree at Rowan University. Carly earned her Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy with Interprofessional Honors Distinction from the University of New England in Portland, Maine. During her graduate studies, she conducted research on chronic pain, leading a volunteer program at the local memory care unit, and instructing adaptive snowboarding.
Carly has taken multiple return to play ACL courses as well as dance medicine seminars. Carly is a certified pain free performance specialist and is also certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment, which utilizes specific movement patterns to find the sources of pain and movement dysfunction. Carly is a certified Bike Fitter, which allows her to work with cyclists of all levels to get them back on their bike pain free.
