Sydney Breitkopf graduated from the University of Delaware (Roll Hens!) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Disabilities Studies. She then completed her graduate schooling at Stony Brook University, earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

From a young age, Sydney knew she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. She has always had a passion for helping others. When Sydney’s dad underwent multiple hip surgeries and received his own course of physical therapy treatment, she witnessed firsthand how his therapists helped him achieve his goals and feel more like himself again. She was moved by the impact PT’s can have on their patients both physically and emotionally. She became interested in the profession, ultimately realizing her path to become a physical therapist.

When she isn’t working, Sydney enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending spin classes, reading thriller novels, and traveling. In the summer of 2022, Sydney traveled to Tanzania to volunteer at a school for children with disabilities providing physical therapy services. Sydney has had the opportunity to travel to many other countries and hopes to continue her adventures in the future.
