Lauren graduated summa cum laude from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Health Science. While at U Sciences, Lauren was a member of the Women’s Basketball team, earning multiple all-conference honors for academic achievements.

Lauren developed an interest in physical therapy after suffering a knee injury during high school basketball, requiring an ACL reconstructive surgery. It was during her time in rehabilitation that Lauren realized a career in physical therapy would combine her love for learning and passion for helping people, all while making a positive difference in someone’s life.

Lauren enjoys treating a variety of patients across all age ranges and injuries. However, she has taken a particular interest in treating post-operative injuries of young females. Due to her own adolescent injury, she understands not only the physical, but also the emotional and psychological challenges that can accompany an injury to a person in this age group. This unique perspective allows her to connect with patients and treat their injuries on a more global level.

Although born in California, Lauren was raised in Texas and finally planted her roots in Northern New Jersey in the mid-1990s. Now a Jersey girl, she enjoys the varying landscapes of this great state, from beach to farm to mountain. Lauren loves being outdoors, especially when she can bring her dog along. Lauren and her husband consider themselves enthusiastic travelers, always up for a challenge. They enjoy adventure vacations, exploring locations not only within the United States, but also abroad, including trips to Europe, Central America, the Middle East, and South Africa. Together, they find that understanding unfamiliar cultures and cuisines helps them appreciate the diversity that comes with this profession.
