EXCEL Waldwick Physical Therapist, Bill Weiss, received his education from Sacred Heart University, in Fairfield, Connecticut, where he graduated with a bachelor degree in Human Movement / Sport Science, and subsequently completed a master degree in Physical Therapy. Through participation in sports and running track and cross country in high school, Bill developed a long-standing and deep-rooted interest in Sports Medicine, Kinesiology and the rehabilitation field, in general.
Having spent more than fifteen years at Excel Physical Therapy, Bill has been a trusted resource for patients of all backgrounds, treating a wide range of injuries and conditions. He is dedicated to guiding his patients through every step of the rehabilitation process with expertise, enthusiasm, and a personal touch.
While he thrives on the diversity of cases he encounters, he has a special passion for working with patients recovering from neck and back injuries, shoulder injuries, total joint replacements, knee reconstructive surgery, total joint replacements, knee reconstructive surgeries, and overuse injuries common in a variety of athletes. Bill also takes pride in helping baseball and football players return to peak performance, understanding the unique physical demands of each position which the sport.
In his time outside of work, Bill enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, outdoor activities, attending concerts, comedy shows and sporting events, and traveling. Originally from Long Island, Bill is always rooting for the Jets, Yankees and Islanders. While the days of competitive sports have passed, his two young sons have kept him involved in athletics, in the capacities of providing coaching assistance in youth sports, as well as leading endless backyard football, soccer, baseball and basketball battles.
