Debbie Dieter-Barker graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Kinesiological Sciences. She went on to earn a B.S. in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Utica College.

Debbie has over 30 years of knowledge and expertise in many areas. She has had the good fortune of observing her patient’s surgical procedures which has enhanced her ability to care for her patients as quickly, but safely, as possible. These opportunities have also helped develop incredibly working relationships with many of talented orthopedic surgeons.

Debbie’s past experience includes working side by side with team physicians from the New York Giants and the New York Mets. She has extensive experience and continuing education attendance in rehabilitation for throwing injuries. Debbie also earned a certification as an Advanced Hip Clinician through he renowned Hospital for Special Surgery, and is working towards achieving her certification in Pilates for spine care.

She believes the key to developing a successful treatment plan is effective communication with the patient and physician, pinpointing the source of the problem through a thorough evaluation, and rehabilitating the dysfunctional component using the vast academic knowledge and clinical experience she has gained over the years. She prides herself on success where other attempts at physical therapy have failed.
