Holly Young grew up in Archbald, PA and graduated from Valley View High School. She went on to complete her undergraduate schooling at Susquehanna University and earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA.
Holly became a physical therapist because she has always had a passion for helping individuals be the best versions of themselves. She loves helping individuals to reach their maximal potential and providing them with lifelong tools for their health. Her commitment to excellence in her profession is evident through her rigorous pursuit of knowledge and skills. She is a certified LSVT BIG instructor serving people with Parkinson’s and parkinsonism.
Holly treats patients of all walks of life and treats everything from sports performance, general orthopedics, joint replacements, general strength and conditioning, and Parkinson’s. She has also gained experience in the college setting with various sports, including soccer, tennis, football, lacrosse, softball, Crossfit, dance and baseball.
A passionate clinician, Holly’s main goal for every patient is to instill hope and provide the necessary tools for patient’s to achieve their goals. She aims to lead them towards leaving physical therapy better than when they started. Each and every patient’s well-being and personal goals are top priority and Holly provides the most up to date, cutting edge, evidence-based techniques and interventions to help patients succeed.
When she’s not in the office, Holly also shares her skills in a neuro acute rehab setting helping her patients to get in and out of bed, wheel chair navigation, independent sitting, standing, and walking, navigating steps and becoming as independent as possible. Holly lives in Philadelphia and during her free time can be found participating in Crossfit, walking dogs, and spending time with her friends and family.
