Kimberly “Kimmie” Ellsworth, PT, DPT is a proud graduate of Quinnipiac University, where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Health Science Studies and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees. 

A North Jersey native from Paramus and an alumna of Paramus High School, Kimmie grew up as a competitive athlete, fueling her deep-rooted passion for movement, recovery, and performance. 

Kimmie spent years training and competing in all-star cheerleading and tumbling, where she developed an appreciation for strength, agility, and injury prevention. The high-impact nature of the sport exposed her to the challenges of sports-related injuries, solidifying her desire to become a physical therapist. Watching her teammates work hard towards recovery and return to competition inspired her to pursue a career dedicated to helping athletes regain their strength and confidence. Seeing them return to the sports they love sparked her desire to play a hands-on role in rehabilitation, ultimately leading to a career dedicated to helping others move, heal, and thrive. 

Kimmie brings diverse clinical experience across inpatient, outpatient, and hospital rehabilitation settings, but her heart lies in outpatient physical therapy. She enjoys working with a broad range of patients, from post-surgical recovery and neurological conditions to athletes looking to get back in the game.

Beyond the clinic, Kimmie loves soaking up the sun, traveling, reading, baking, and spending quality time with family. Whether she’s exploring a new destination or helping her patients regain their strength, Kimmie is always on the move—dedicated to making every step count.
