Eugene “Max” Kozlovsky is a Mahwah native, growing up in Bergen County and graduating from Mahwah High School. Following high school, Max served in the Air Force where he was deployed on three separate occasions to Afghanistan. While deployed, Max volunteered at a local hospital and cared for those who were critically injured. It was that experience that inspired Max to pursue a career in healthcare. 

After caring for many amputees while overseas, Max knew that he wanted to go down a path towards becoming a physical therapist. He wanted to build relationships with his patients and change lives. He went on to graduate from William Patterson University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, and later on his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Stockton University. 

In addition to being a physical therapist, Max also has experience as a personal trainer. He is certified in Kettlebell training, TRX systems and Functional Movement Screens. He also is certified in Blood Flow Restriction and is currently studying for his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist exam. 

As a former scholastic and tactical athlete, Max has a special interest in treating that population, especially wrestling and track athletes. He eventually would like to study for board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) or Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS). 

When he is not in the office, Max likes to stay active. He enjoys body building and participating in Spartan Races. He has goals to train for a triathlon and also improve his golf game.
